Job summary

Archer is seeking a Senior Core QA Associate II to join Verisk's CRS team, focusing on validating the Casualty Catastrophe Model and strengthening testing pipelines. You will design and execute comprehensive QA strategies for REST API testing, data-driven workflows, and cloud-native applications, collaborating across product, engineering, and customer success to ensure accuracy and performance.

You will contribute to automation frameworks, document analytical work in Python/Jupyter or R

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5–7 years of related work experience.
• Experience testing cloud-native UI and API products (REST/gRPC).
• Solid QA methodologies knowledge and experience building test strategies.
• Proficiency with Cypress or Playwright and related tooling (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, AWS, and data formats (HTML, JSON, XML, YAML).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain comprehensive QA test suites for the Risk Solutions platform.
• Translate end-to-end workflows into effective test strategies and plans.
• Create and maintain test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts; contribute to automation frameworks.
• Perform manual and automated testing with emphasis on REST API testing and data-driven workflows.
• Document validation of complex models and ensure accuracy and performance criteria.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer success to clarify requirements.
