Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking a Core Financial Analyst to move beyond routine accounting tasks and engage with senior leadership on policy and analyses across benefits, real estate, insurance, and projects. This role reports to the Controllers function and offers exposure to the CFO and Audit Committee.

The candidate should have a strong accounting foundation, solid analytical judgment, and a drive to expand responsibilities over time within a global financial services firm.

Qualifications

• CPA licensure preferred or candidate with hours toward licensure.
• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred).
• Experience in financial services or investment banking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead external audits and prepare financial statements.
• Shape accounting policy across four disciplines (benefit plans, real estate, insurance, and projects).
• Present results to the CFO and Audit Committee.
• Support lease accounting models and updates.
• Lead ad-hoc financial analysis projects and prepare presentations.
• Assist in monthly financial statement preparation.
