Job summary

Monroe Community Credit Union seeks a Senior Programmer Analyst to design, develop, and maintain the credit union's core banking platform and enterprise applications. You will serve as a senior technical resource, implementing secure solutions, automating processes, and supporting integrations while ensuring reliability across the IT environment.

The role requires 5+ years in software development, strong SQL and API skills, and experience with agile practices, TDD, CBD, CI/CD, and DevSecOps.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent with recognized certifications
• 5+ years in software development and maintaining software, preferably in financial services
• 5+ years of SQL coding including queries, techniques, and terminology
• 5+ years in Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs, and AJAX
• Experience leading solution delivery in agile environments with TDD, CBD, CI/CD and DevSecOps
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Zoho, Confluence, Microsoft DevOps, Git, Postman, SSO, OAuth, cloud services (AWS/Azure), and MS SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain secure applications, APIs, SDK-based solutions, interfaces, scripts, and reports for core banking and enterprise systems
• Serve as a senior technical resource for assigned applications and optimize system functionality, workflows, interfaces, and security
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, data extracts, and data validation for operational, regulatory, and management reporting
• Plan and monitor scheduled core/enterprise processing; coordinate testing and resolution of exceptions
• Lead automation, integration, and process improvements to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort
• Provide technical leadership for implementations, upgrades, integrations, and development initiatives
• Maintain documentation, controls, and compliance materials; support audits and disaster recovery testing
• Provide level-appropriate technical support and mentor team members
