Job summary

First Community Credit Union is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and support Core financial system applications in the Copperfield headquarters (Houston). You will lead medium to large projects and act as a senior technical advisor, building front-end and back-end apps with C# and the .NET platform.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, at least five years of C#/NET experience, ASP.NET MVC & Web APIs, SQL Server/Azure SQL, and Azure services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five years of experience with C# and the .NET platform.
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC and Web APIs.
• Minimum of three years with SQL Server and Azure SQL, including queries.
• Hands-on with Azure App Services, Functions, and Service Bus.
• Experience designing REST APIs and SOAP services.
• Experience building Mobile Applications.

Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, and support Core financial system applications.
• Lead medium to large projects and mentor teammates.
• Build front-end and back-end apps using C# and the .NET platform.
• Provide guidance to Software Engineer I’s.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Core integrations in Data Center and Azure.
