In collaboration with business, technology, and vendor teams, you will own foundational components, oversee releases and platform upgrades, and drive continuous improvement across the Core Banking platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or engineering.
• 10+ years architecting Core Banking applications in financial services.
• Proven success designing enterprise architectures and integration strategies.
• Advanced proficiency with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, batch-processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and optimization of the Core Banking environment for security, stability, and scalability.
• Own foundational components: security controls, configurations, routing, and batch frameworks.
• Design solutions aligning business goals with enterprise standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage releases, upgrades, patches, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Architect and support integrations with internal/third-party systems for data integrity.
• Provide leadership for mergers, acquisitions, and conversions with testing oversight.
• Monitor performance, availability, resiliency, and processing efficiency.
• Lead investigation and resolution of complex production issues during critical cycles.
• Develop architecture documentation and governance artifacts.
