Job summary

Dutch Point Credit Union seeks a Senior Core Solutions Analyst to resolve complex production issues, keep critical processing reliable, and improve day-to-day operations. You will partner with the VP of Core Solutions in a hands-on role with no direct reports, gradually owning key functions and building Dutch Point-specific knowledge.

You will administer Symitar Episys and related applications, manage processing, and coordinate vendor escalations while strengthening backup and recovery

Qualifications

• Senior Core Solutions Analyst with Symitar Episys expertise.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues and maintain dependable processing.
• Strong documentation, runbooks creation, and knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Symitar Episys and connected apps, including rates, parameters, reports, and production changes.
• Independently maintain processing, batch jobs, file transfers, interfaces, and scheduled jobs.
• Resolve complex production incidents and routine helpdesk requests; coordinate vendor escalations.
• Review and test PowerOn programs, scripts, and vendor enhancements with approvals and post-release checks.
• Document runbooks and dependencies; cross-train; verify backup execution; participate in continuity/recovery activities.
• Translate business needs into configuration, workflow, reporting, and automation improvements.
• Coordinate device/access support with IT and on-site staff; assist with audits and security controls.

Dutch Point Credit Union is seeking a Senior Core Solutions Analyst to solve complex production issues, keep critical processing dependable, and improve everyday operations. You’ll partner with the VP of Core Solutions in a senior, hands-on role with no direct reports—progressively taking ownership of designated critical functions as you build Dutch Point-specific knowledge and demonstrate readiness.

What You'll Lead

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Jack Henry Symitar (Episys) and connected applications, including rates, parameters, reports, and controlled production changes.
• Independently maintain assigned processing, batch jobs, file transfers, interfaces, and scheduled jobs.
• Resolve complex production incidents and routine helpdesk requests; prioritize by impact and coordinate Jack Henry/vendor escalations.
• Review, coordinate, test, and validate PowerOn programs, scripts, and vendor-developed enhancements, with documented approvals and post-release checks.
• Document runbooks and dependencies, cross-train, verify independent backup execution, and participate in continuity and recovery activities.
• Translate business needs into configuration, workflow, reporting, and automation improvements that reduce manual work, errors, and repeat requests.
• Coordinate core-connected device and access support with IT and local staff, who perform physical on-site tasks.
• Protect confidential information, follow security and change controls, support audits, complete annual BSA training, and abide by the credit union’s BSA and OFAC-related policies and procedures.
