Job summary

Justworks is seeking a Senior Copywriter in New York City to lead creative work from strategy through final copy, collaborating with filmmakers, strategists, designers, animators, and producers to bring bold ideas to life across brand campaigns, product films, website copy, and experiential work.

You will write long-form and short-form copy with a distinctive voice, explore AI-assisted approaches, and uphold the Justworks brand across channels in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of copywriting experience in an agency or in-house creative team.
• Portfolio of integrated, multi-channel campaigns showing originated ideas.
• Experience leading projects through strategy and creative development.
• Film and motion experience with directors, editors, and animators.
• Exceptional long-form and short-form writing with strong cadence and voice.
• Strong presentation skills to sell in and steward creative work through stakeholder review.
• Experience working with external production companies, agencies, and creative partners.
• Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
• Familiarity with AI tools in the creative process, or a strong learning orientation.
• Experience in B2B or SMB-facing brands is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from strategy through final copy, maintaining idea integrity.
• Collaborate with directors, editors, animators, designers, and producers to bring concepts to life across film, motion, and live experiences.
• Write treatments and scripts that guide production partners and give clear creative direction.
• Partner with Brand Experience, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Content, Social, and Communications to extend campaigns across channels.
