Technical Operations/Maintenance

Technical Operations includes the maintenance and overhaul of our aircraft. This encompasses aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities teams, supply chain teams, and more.

Job overview and responsibilities
  • Provide a wide range of administrative duties supporting front-line employees in Warehouse & Distribution.
  • Serve as the primary employee coordinator for all new hires, supporting employee recognition and operational needs.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as New Hire Onboarding, working with Staffing on candidates with clearance, start dates, port IDs, completing I-9 forms, department access, renewing IDs, FMLA requests, and open items. Support operations across all regions, oversee daily Employee Recognition Programs, manage vacation time, transitional duties, and coordinate field trips and seniority.
  • Perform personnel-related duties including scanning, filing, making overtime call-outs per local process, maintaining payroll, and tracking attendance in accordance with union agreements and company policies.
  • Gather data and prepare reports using Excel and SharePoint. Prepare information on budgets, forecasts, supplies, operational building maintenance, facilities, GSE liaison, performance reports for senior leadership, and compliance data.
  • Manage administrative aspects of Stores Operations, assisting employees with supplies, payroll (as Finance liaison), time management, and other tasks assigned by the senior manager.
  • Support forecasting of future resource needs and assist in staffing adjustments to meet workload requirements, ensuring efficient cost and performance control.
  • Report to the Manager or Shift Manager, representing the station's Material Services department professionally while coordinating with other departments.
  • Perform a wide range of personnel duties, potentially including analytical support to logistics operations.
  • Ensure union compliance by working alongside management to align actions, requests, and processes with the contract.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of administrative support and/or warehousing/supply chain experience
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Working knowledge of Sceptre or related systems
  • Strong understanding of Tech Ops organization (facilities, GSE, Stores, Maintenance)
  • Proficiency in budgeting
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Successful interview completion required
  • Reliable, punctual attendance essential
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or 2 years relevant work experience
  • 2 years airline union experience

The base pay range is $43,890 to $59,840. Compensation depends on experience, education, and skills. The role is eligible for bonuses and incentives.
