America’s Rehab Campuses is seeking a Cook to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for patients and staff in a clinical setting. You will follow approved menus, maintain sanitation, and ensure meals meet dietary requirements and portion controls.

You will supervise dietary aides, communicate with patients, and help ensure meals are served on time. This role requires strong organization and adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in quantity cooking, including knowledge of modified diets and use of industrial kitchen equipment.
• CPR/FA Certification – to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card – current card or show proof of applying within 7 days from hire date.
• Handle with Care – to be obtained within first 30 days.
• Successful clearance of pre-employment criminal/county/state background check.
• Successful clearance of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• TB PPD testing clearance upon hire and annual TB symptom screening.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved menu cycle, recipes, and production sheets.
• Ensure meals are prepared on schedule and meet quality, presentation, and portion controls.
• Prepare foods for modified or therapeutic diets as directed by the Dietician.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, dining areas, and dish room.
• Monitor and document food, refrigeration, and dish machine temperatures.
• Label, date, and store food items; maintain organized storage areas.
• Assist dietary aides during shifts and supervise as needed.
• Interact with patients during meal service and assist with meal selection.
• Report equipment issues to the Dietary Director; participate in meetings and trainings.
• Close and secure the kitchen at end of shift.
