Bon Appétit Management Company in Alameda, CA is hiring immediately for a full-time Senior Cook. Location is Exelixis Cafe, 1951 Harbor Bay Parkway, Alameda. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM with overtime required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid ServSafe certificate or Food Handler's card.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored according to standards.
• Oversees cooking activities as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepares various entrees following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use; performs routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items; maintains organized storage of dry goods and perishables.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Maintains daily production records and completes required documentation and logs.
• Assists in cross-training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
