Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring immediately for a full-time Senior Cook at Exelixis Cafe in Alameda, CA 94502. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM with overtime as needed.

A valid ServSafe certificate or Food Handler's card is required to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. You will prepare entrees, follow established recipes, operate and clean equipment, and maintain proper food storage in accordance with HACCP and local health standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid ServSafe certificate or Food Handler's card.
• Overtime availability may be required.

Responsibilities

• May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned.
• Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.
• Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy.
• Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and department procedures.
• Assists Food Service Director in maintaining production records and documentation.
• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Assists in the cross training of employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
