Job Summary

The Senior Cook prepares nutritious, flavorful food in accordance with all applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Oversee cooking activities as assigned by the Food Service Director.
2. Prepare various entrees and menu items following recipes.
3. Operate and clean equipment after use; perform scheduled cleaning.
4. Store, label, and date food items; maintain organized storage.
5. Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety and quality.
6. Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
7. Assist in maintaining production records and documentation.
8. Cross-train employees as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
