Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored, adhering to all applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee cooking activities as assigned by the Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy; maintain organized storage.
• Follow HACCP guidelines for food safety and quality.
• Comply with health and sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining accurate production records and documentation.
• Participate in cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
