Senior Cook

Location: UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS SOUTHWESTERN MEDICAL CENTER, DALLAS - 60197008

Workdays/Shifts: Varying shifts, days/hours (open availability preferred). More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20 per hour - $21.50 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Cook at Sodexo, you are a team player and food waste reducer. You’ll prepare nutritious dishes while prioritizing customer service. Your passion for food and warm smile will positively impact those you serve. You will provide the highest quality of food service at all times.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and cold food items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events.
• Follow complex recipes and product directions.
• Produce small to large batch goods using classical and contemporary cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques.
• May oversee production staff, train, and assign tasks.
• Attend work and show up on time for scheduled shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
