Job summary

FedEx is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated sorting, conveyor, and material handling systems. The role requires performance of preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment, along with welding and fabrication to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• Four years of maintenance experience, including 24 months on automated systems.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and preventive maintenance of conveyors and electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment diagnostics and welding/fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated sorting and material handling systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures using schematics and manuals to restore operation.
• Perform welding and fabrication on equipment and structures.
• Support continuous operation through inspections and proactive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
