This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of building technologies and energy solutions, with over 40 years of experience. Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide controls database, graphics, programming, etc., based on project specifications and design inputs.
  • Manage system start-up and commissioning, including point-to-point checkout and verification of system actions.
  • Support installation personnel and other contractors on project sites.
  • Debug installation issues during start-up and commissioning, and support ongoing system operation and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to project estimation, design, installation, and training efforts.
  • Prepare and maintain start-up documentation and ensure software backups.
  • Provide ongoing service support to ensure systems meet occupancy codes and operate efficiently.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and timely, including logs and manuals.
  • Assist in project turnover and support sales during estimating and demonstrations.
  • Travel to job sites as needed for start-up, commissioning, and support activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two-year technical degree in HVAC or Electronics preferred; degree in Electrical or Mechanical fields or relevant experience is also acceptable.
  • At least 2 years of programming experience with Building Automation systems.
  • Proficiency with computer operating systems and networking.
  • Ability to work with electronic testing equipment and troubleshoot electrical circuitry.
  • Understanding of AC power circuitry and good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of HVAC operations and controls.
  • 4+ years of Niagara programming experience, N4 Certification preferred.
  • Deep understanding of DDC or building control systems.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work on construction sites.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
