Job summary
Nestlé Health Science seeks a Controls & Automation Technician for the Savannah factory. You will support electrical, automation, instrumentation, and process control systems, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving plant operation.
You’ll work with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial networks, collaborating across maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams. You will participate in continuous improvement, system upgrades, root cause analysis, and digital transformation to raise
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent industrial experience in electrical/automation.
- 3+ years in industrial electrical/instrumentation/automation environments.
- Experience reading drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics.
- Experience with Rockwell Automation platforms and CMMS systems.
- Instrumentation and calibration expertise.
Responsibilities
- Follow Nestlé safety, environmental, quality, and GMP requirements.
- Troubleshoot and maintain PLC/HMI controlled manufacturing equipment.
- Support electrical safety audits and machine safety improvements.
- Develop automation strategies to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Interpret electrical schematics and maintain documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives.
