Job summary

Nestlé S.A. operates a state-of-the-art Atlanta factory focused on dry pet food production for brands like Alpo, Beneful, Cat Chow, Dog Chow, Friskies, Purina ONE, and Pro Plan.

The role provides PLC and HMI/SCADA support to ensure safety and reliability of electrical and control systems across the plant. You will lead scope development, coordinate software and hardware upgrades, and maintain as-built documentation while helping train maintenance staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment.

• Associate’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years’ of experience with electrical troubleshooting, PLC logic system design, technical data interpretation, and hardware application specification in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support for the factory
• Assist in scope development, requirements, and objectives for electrical and controls projects
• Coordinate and implement control system software and hardware upgrades
• Develop and maintain the long-term electrical and controls infrastructure plan for the factory
• Maintain current and complete electrical and controls as-built documentation
• Assist in maintenance staff training and development
