Nestlé S.A. Hereford factory seeks a Controls Technical Specialist to troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance PLC and PC-based automation systems. You will upgrade PLCs, modify wiring on production equipment, and collaborate with maintenance to support line changes. Qualifications
3+ years of PLC software/hardware troubleshooting or HMI experience in controls, automation, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments.
Associate's degree required with 1+ years of PLC/HMI experience in controls, automation, electrical, or industrial maintenance environments.
Responsibilities
Configure, program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
Perform preventive maintenance for controls and organize electrical/control parts inventory.
Develop, read, and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and programs essential to plant operation.
Comply with all required safety protocols during maintenance support including 70E protocols.
Performs all electrical work necessary for repairs, alterations, additions, and revisions to the plant electrical system.
Provide instrumentation, PLC and HMI/SCADA software and hardware support to plant maintenance staff.
Provide on-call support to the factory in troubleshooting controls issues.
