Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Project Manager - Controls to lead and deliver multi-project initiatives from initiation to completion. You will manage costs, schedules, and resources while guiding client decisions and ensuring solutions meet business needs.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong organization, and the ability to oversee cross-functional teams and vendor relations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 6–8 years of project management experience.
• Experience in Data Center construction and build-out desired.
• PMP certification beneficial.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage small to large-scale projects independently with minimal oversight.
• Develop and control project costs and schedules.
• Lead and develop a high-performing project team.
• Maintain client/vendor relationships and report progress.
• Represent the client as an OPM when needed.
• Ensure solutions align with business needs and deliver outcomes.
• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycle.
