Job summary

Wunderlich-Malec Engineering in Fredericksburg, VA seeks a Senior Project Manager - Controls to independently manage projects from initiation through completion. You will control costs, schedules, and resources while fostering client and vendor relationships and guiding decisions to meet business needs.

The role requires proactive leadership, excellent organization, and the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience in Data Center construction and build-out preferred.
• PMP certification beneficial.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with client/vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Manages small to large-scale projects for clients independently with minimal oversight.
• Develops, manages, and controls project costs and schedules.
• Directs resources appropriately for the project and manages end-to-end lifecycle.
• Guides clients in decision-making to deliver optimal business solutions.
• Leads and develops a high-performing project team.
• Maintains client and vendor relations to meet service expectations.
• Reports project progress, issues, and accomplishments to client and Wunderlich-Malec.
• Represent the client as an OPM when needed and manage third-party relationships.
