Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Construction Project Manager, Controls, to lead profitable execution of assigned controls and mechanical projects while prioritizing safety, quality, schedule performance, and financial results.

You will oversee projects from pre-construction through closeout, coordinating with sales teams, installation managers, field operations, subcontractors, and customers to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a construction/engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct project management experience in building construction.
• Experience managing complex projects with schedule, budget, and client relationships.
• Proficient with project management software and MS Office.
• PMI/PMP certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through completion as primary execution leader.
• Develop and manage schedules, budgets, billings, and cash flow for profitability.
• Coordinate with sales, installation managers, field ops, subcontractors and customers.
• Review contracts and change orders to ensure compliant execution.
• Provide regular progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
