Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Construction Project Manager, Controls, in Franklin, TN. You will lead and execute controls and mechanical projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule performance, and financial results align with company objectives.

You will collaborate with sales, installation managers, field teams, and customers to deliver projects on time and within scope. The role requires strong communication and experience with MS Project and related tools.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in construction or engineering or related field and relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct project management experience in building construction.
• Experience managing complex projects with schedule, budget, and client relationships.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with project management software and financial accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee projects from pre-construction support through closeout, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, installation, field operations, subcontractors, and customers to meet objectives.
• Develop schedules, budgets, billings, and cash flow to achieve profitability.
• Review contracts, field directives, and change orders; manage risk and changes.
• Coordinate procurement, approvals, and subcontractor activities; maintain documentation.
