Job summary

CPG Ashburn, VA is seeking a Controls & Integration Engineer IV to design, develop, install, and maintain automation and power monitoring systems for data centers and mission-critical environments. You will lead programming for PLC/SCADA, develop operation narratives, and oversee QA/QC for complex projects.

Responsibilities include designing subsystems, performing requirements analyses, and coordinating with stakeholders. Travel ~30% and US citizenship required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
• 8 years of field experience in controls systems.
• Experience with switchgear, substations, metering, SCADA integration.
• Ability to read electrical and control schematics.
• Proven testing and commissioning experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer SCADA/Automation projects with design documents.
• Lead programming and configuration of PLCs/RTUs/HMI systems.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and testing for integrated systems.
• Plan testing procedures and drive factory and field testing.
• Provide technical direction and supervise engineers and drafters.
