Job summary

CPG Beyond, Inc. in Ashburn, VA seeks a Controls Engineer to design, develop, install and maintain equipment used to monitor and control data center systems.

You'll work on power monitoring, SCADA/HMI, BAS, and protection schemes for mission-critical environments, with 25% travel. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering and 2–5 years of field experience, with strong knowledge of EPMS, PLCs, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or higher.
• 2–5 years of field experience in controls systems preferred.
• Experience with EPMS, PLCs, SCADA/HMI and field devices.
• Familiarity with power monitoring and building automation systems (BAS).

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and development of SCADA/Automation projects.
• Review design documents and ensure project compliance.
• Program, configure, and troubleshoot controllers, PLCs, RTUs, VFDs, and HMI systems.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, and documentation of systems.
• Perform troubleshooting on service calls and perform upgrades as needed.
