Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Lead Hardware Design Engineer to support a hyperscale data center program from our headquarters in Atlanta, GA. You will drive BMS/BAS/EPMS hardware design packages through submittals, construction coordination, and commissioning closeout, collaborating across disciplines to ensure high-quality, construction-ready documentation.

The role requires strong experience in Revit 2025, BIM workflows, and leadership of design teams in fast-paced data center environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hardware design experience in mission-critical facilities.
• 5+ years leading and managing design teams.
• Proficiency in Revit 2025 and delivering CAD drawings directly within the Revit model.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver BMS/BAS/EPMS hardware design packages from baseline to submittals.
• Coordinate across PMs, design teams, BIM resources, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure construction readiness, commissioning readiness and closeout documentation.
• Maintain documentation discipline and manage design deliverables under aggressive schedules.
