Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering or Automation Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of industrial controls experience in a 24/7 environment; chemical manufacturing preferred.
Minimum 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing engineering teams.
Strong project management and capital project execution experience.
Hands-on knowledge of complex instrumentation and controls systems; SCADA experience.

Responsibilities

Lead development of tools/methods to improve controls reliability and reduce downtime.
Mentor and develop onsite Controls Engineering team for 24/7 operations.
Administer plant-wide PI Historian system and SCADA architecture.
Provide troubleshooting support for operations, including callouts and remote fixes.
Develop data-driven measures to improve process/equipment reliability.
Ensure controls infrastructure meets site regulatory requirements and MOC procedures.
Interface with vendors and document information in CMMS systems.
Lead controls activities for capital projects and manage budgets.
