Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering; other technical disciplines with related experience considered.
• 6–8 years of work experience in high-volume chemical manufacturing.
• Experience supervising and/or mentoring others.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with all levels in the organization.
• Demonstrated leadership in ambiguous and rapidly changing situations.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Demonstrated process troubleshooting and structured problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques and data analysis.
• Familiarity with JMP software preferred; not required.
• Experience with LIMS, SAP, and SQL databases; SAP Mii is a plus.
• Ability to interact productively with all levels of the organization.
• Safety-sensitive role requiring post-offer drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assures that all activities and project work are conducted within site EH&S expectations and Fujifilm values.
• Monitors daily progress against team deliverables and provides guidance to meet schedule.
• With CMP Manufacturing Manager, analyzes equipment and/or system failures and allocates containment resources.
• With CMP Quality and Product Management, investigates and resolves high-priority customer concerns or product quality issues.
• Ensures work assignments are resourced to meet the primary objective while enabling cross-functional training.
• Provides input to Site Leadership on current and future resource needs and participates in budgeting.
