Job summary

Xylem Inc. is seeking an experienced Engineer IV to lead design, programming, commissioning, and optimization of water treatment systems for refineries, power plants, chemical facilities, and other large industrial customers.

This is a hands-on leadership role, not maintenance-only, with focus on advanced PLC and HMI solutions and customer-facing success. You will guide field deployments, conduct site audits, and work with internal teams and customers to improve reliability and total cost of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Controls, Automation, or related discipline.
10+ years of experience in industrial process control, automation, or instrumentation engineering.
Proven experience developing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting industrial control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of industrial control systems for water treatment and related applications.
Create and modify PLC programs, HMI applications, and control logic to meet project requirements.
Support system integration, testing, commissioning, startup, and optimization activities.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support and recommend system improvements.
