Job summary
Xylem is seeking an experienced Engineer IV to lead the design, programming, commissioning, and optimization of sophisticated water treatment systems for refineries, power plants, and chemical processing facilities. You will drive projects from concept through startup, developing advanced PLC and HMI solutions for industrial customers.
The role calls for strong expertise in Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and field commissioning in heavy industrial environments, with a focus on
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in industrial process control, automation, or instrumentation engineering.
- Strong understanding of P&IDs, ISA standards, instrumentation diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Experience with AutoCAD and electrical drawing markups.
Responsibilities
- Lead Controls & Automation Projects for large industrial clients.
- Design and develop industrial control systems for water treatment applications.
- Program PLCs, develop HMI and SCADA solutions, and support commissioning and startup.
