Job summary

Qualifications

• Ten (10)+ years in an OEM manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC and HMI platforms (Siemens required; AB deemed acceptable).
• VFD knowledge is required.
• Motion control experience is desirable.
• Experience with robot controllers is desirable.
• Deep knowledge of controls engineering and broad mechanical engineering knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electrical engineering and functional control system architectures and specifications.
• Plan and schedule control systems development for new/existing machines and configurations.
• Develop machine functional specifications with Product Management and Marketing.
• Lead proof-of-technology tests and analyze results.
• Perform risk assessments for machine/process and UML software design.
