Job summary

Alliance Machine Systems International, LLC seeks a Controls Engineer IV for an on-site role in Spokane, WA. You will design and oversee electrical control systems for packaging machinery, with a focus on Siemens PLC and HMI platforms, velocity and motion control, and integration with robotics as needed.

Requires a BSEE/BSCE/BSME and a minimum of ten years in an OEM environment. Travel up to 25% is expected, with a competitive benefits package and a DOE salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering or higher.
• Ten+ years in an OEM manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA systems and automation hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex electrical control systems for OEM machinery.
• Lead PLC/HMI code development, testing and commissioning.
• Collaborate with production, service and suppliers for installation and startup.
• Perform risk assessments and support field troubleshooting as needed.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
