Top Echelon Software LLC is seeking a Controls Engineer to design and deploy machine control systems near Oneida, NY. You will size components, program PLCs, and develop HMIs while supporting Siemens controls across facilities.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree with 5+ years of experience, are proficient in AutoCAD, and comply with NEC and safety standards. Travel up to 30% is expected; U.S. work eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• AAS or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with NEC and machine safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine control systems using AutoCAD and select components.
• Program, modify, and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs and ladder logic; support Siemens controls.
• Lead installation, integration, and commissioning at multiple facilities (~30% travel).
• Provide hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting to maintenance teams.
• Diagnose control system issues and modify PLC logic for production improvements.
