Job summary

Clear Water Services is hiring a Control Systems Engineer to design and deliver high-quality control panels, troubleshoot control systems, establish best practices for continuous improvement, and work with operations and manufacturing teams. This role requires extensive knowledge in PLC programming and various design systems.

Travel to multiple sites, primarily the greater Seattle area, is expected. HQ in Everett, WA.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on PLC and HMI programming.
• Read and modify electrical schematics.
• Experience designing control systems for high-voltage (480V) applications.
• Strong understanding of industrial automation protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus).
• Excellent troubleshooting and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to various work locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC programs across systems.
• Design HMIs to meet operator and process needs.
• Design control panels, wiring, and select components for high-voltage systems.
• Lead projects from design to implementation.
• Create and update CAD drawings for control panels.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in existing systems.
• Travel >50% to Seattle area and West Coast sites.
