Job summary

DC Engineering is seeking a skilled Controls System Integrator to join our team in Idaho. You will lead projects from concept through commissioning, designing scalable architectures and developing PLC and HMI systems.

This role requires hands-on field work, strong troubleshooting, and collaboration with engineers, vendors, and stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in control system integration, deep PLC/SCADA knowledge, and the ability to work independently while traveling ~10–15%

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in control system integration.
Proven ability to execute and deliver projects independently with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of physical equipment systems and how they operate as an integrated solution.

Responsibilities

Lead systems integrator on projects from concept through design, implementation and commissioning.
Design and implement system architectures for compatibility, scalability and performance.
Develop and program PLC and HMI systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues and validate performance.
Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, vendors and stakeholders to ensure project success.
