Job summary

Abundant Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Controls & Electrical Technician in Tulsa, OK to support electrical control systems and manufacturing processes. You will bridge engineering and production, translating electrical designs into efficient workflows and minimizing downtime on the plant floor.

The role involves troubleshooting PLCs/HMIs (Allen-Bradley RSLogix 500/5000, Beckhoff/Codesys), reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and implementing software updates.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on controls experience.
• Experience with PLCs and HMIs; know-how with Allen-Bradley and Beckhoff/Codesys.
• Familiar with electrical schematics and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, test, and support PLC, HMI, and electrical control systems on the production floor.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Develop manufacturing work instructions and production routings for electrical assemblies.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls issues in real time to minimize downtime.
• Modify, implement, and test PLC and HMI software as required.
• Perform electrical wiring, rewiring, panel modifications, and assembly rework.
• Utilize testing equipment (multimeters, scopes, meggers) for diagnostics.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for electrical systems and processes.
• Support CI initiatives and cost-reduction projects.
• Assist non-conformances investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to improve efficiency.
