Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Tulsa, OK to take ownership of PLC-based automation, instrumentation, electrical controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting from engineering through startup.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Studio 5000, Burner Management Systems, and FactoryTalk, plus strong skills in PLCs, HMI/SCADA, and interpreting P&IDs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on industrial controls, automation, instrumentation, or process controls experience.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA, I/O, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, control narratives, electrical schematics, and instrumentation documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own PLC-based automation, instrumentation, electrical controls, commissioning, and troubleshooting from engineering through startup.
• Work with PLCs, HMIs, instrumentation, and process equipment on projects.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and field teams to drive successful project startup.
