Job summary

Motion Control is seeking an experienced controls engineer to program and debug FANUC robots and PLCs on custom machines. The role includes bringing systems online, validating safety, and leading factory acceptance tests at customer sites.

You will commission and install machines on-site, train operators, oversee controls work on small projects, and maintain company standards while mentoring other programmers. Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Five years of robot and PLC programming on automation systems.
• Hands-on FANUC experience and customer-site commissioning.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot with a meter.

Requirements

Requirements: Requires at least five years of robot and PLC programming experience on custom machines or automated systems, hands-on FANUC experience, and customer-site commissioning experience. Siemens PLC experience is preferred, Allen-Bradley experience is also suitable, and candidates need to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot with a meter; an engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience is accepted.
