Controls Engineer (🤖 PLC, Robotics 0-5 years Experience)
Large Manufacturing Company 1000+ Employees, building electronic systems, needs a Controls Engineer to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities
Work on automation equipment in three main areas:
- Mechanical Design
- PLC Controls & Ladder Logic
- Robot Programming
- Learn and participate in setting up and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
- Work with PLCs using Ladder Logic and participate in setting up Human‑Machine Interface (HMI) systems in coordination with PLC systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
- Work with robots, robot tooling & installation, robot programming.
Preferred Skills
- 0–5 years (or more) experience.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply as long as you have knowledge of PLCs gained through school or internships.
- BSMET or BSEET preferred. If you have extensive experience with PLCs, programming and machine controls maintenance but no engineering degree, we can discuss.
- Experience programming and troubleshooting PLCs and robotics on platforms such as Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc Robotics is a plus.
- Experience in 3D CAD design.
- Position is located in Indianapolis, Suburbs.

Salary
Based on skills & experience: $70,000 – $105,000.
