Job summary

Case iZ is seeking a Controls Engineer to join our engineering team in Evansville, Indiana. You will work on Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming, electrical design, testing, and commissioning for compressed air control systems.

Responsibilities include developing control system designs, providing technical customer support, and leading projects when needed. A strong background in automation and manufacturing is required, with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of related job experience.
Proficient with AutoCAD Electrical.
Proficient with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming, including Studio 5000, FactoryTalk ME, SE, and Optix.
Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated industrial designs.
Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles.
Provide technical support to customers.
Resolve operational problems and minimize delays or cost increases.
Lead or contribute to project success within a team.
Interpret client requirements and address design parameters.
Perform calculations supporting design, including electrical requirements and motor controls.
Create and finalize designs to meet project requirements.
Define equipment and parts from external suppliers.
