Job summary
Air Liquide is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer in Upper Mount Bethel, PA, to lead design, programming and troubleshooting of automated control systems in a chemical plant setting. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, mechanical, or electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including programming PLC/DCS for chemical plant design and operation.
- Knowledge of instrument engineering and applicable codes/standards (UL, NEC).
- Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley automation systems.
- Ability to develop and interpret electrical schematics and design basis documents.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to design, programming, installation, startup and troubleshooting of automated control systems.
- Develop and support plant control system hardware and software safely and efficiently.
- Lead design reviews and PHAs with team involvement or leadership.
- Configure and program PLC, DCS and SCADA systems; manage electrical distribution and power loading.
- Support commissioning, startup and ISO testing; travel as needed.
