Job summary

Air Liquide USA LLC in Morrisville, PA, is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, implement, and troubleshoot automated industrial control systems, focusing on DCS, PLC, SCADA and local controllers for chemical plants. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to improve control hardware and software and to collect process data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering relevant to process control.
• 3-5 years designing/operating PLC/DCS and local controllers for chemical plants.
• Knowledge of UL, NEC, NFPA for hazardous materials handling and control hardware.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify PLC/SCADA/HMI systems and instrument interfaces.
• Create instrumentation documentation: PFDs, P&IDs, loop diagrams.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware to support plant operations.
• Ensure installations meet ISA/NEC/OSHA standards.
• Oversee installation, testing, startup of control systems during plant mods.
• Lead design basis work and documentation for new/existing processes.
• Guide loop/interlock testing and participate in PHA/HA analyses.
