Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division in Jonesville, SC is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to support plant leadership in achieving business and financial goals by developing and maintaining robust testing and assembly processes.

Responsibilities include designing test equipment, PLC/HMI programming, safety compliance, data interfaces between SQL databases and production systems, Lean/Six Sigma improvement, and collaboration across manufacturing, quality, design, and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of Controls/Test engineering experience.
• 3 years of PLC and HMI programming experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain testing and assembly processes.
• Design, develop, install, and troubleshoot production equipment and programs.
• Develop test equipment specifications ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, design, suppliers, and customers.
• Lead capital equipment selection and CARS.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma tools to solve manufacturing problems.
• Drive changes using ADKAR and change management techniques.
