The ideal candidate has 7+ years in automation, strong PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens), vision systems such as Cognex and Keyence, and familiarity with motion controllers (IAI, Yaskawa).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in the automation industry.
• Strong PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
• Familiar with Vision systems (Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiar with motion controllers/actuators (IAI, Yaskawa).
• Experience with troubleshooting control systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control system architecture for manufacturing processes.
• Evaluate new and emerging manufacturing and control technologies and adapt them into specifications.
• Confirm control system functionality and safety by designing and executing test procedures.
• Prepare electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams and collaborate with engineering teams.
• Maintain process data integrity and support data collection initiatives.
• Perform audits, troubleshoot breakdowns, procure supplies and drive improvements.
• Manage supplier development and delivery; maintain project documentation.
• Handle multiple complex projects with minimal guidance.
