Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Rochester, Indiana, is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to join our on‑site team. You will lead design, testing, installation, and maintenance of large‑scale control systems in a hands‑on manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Controls Engineering in industrial automation; electrical experience preferred.
Familiarity with Fanuc and ABB robotics.
Hands-on Siemens/Allen-Bradley PLC programming and Fanuc CNC troubleshooting.
Experience with HMI/SCADA and industrial networks; ability to read electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

Designs and implements control system architecture for manufacturing processes.
Evaluates new control technologies and integrates them into specs.
Verifies control system functionality and safety compliance through testing.
Creates and reviews electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic drawings with engineering teams.
Maintains project documents and supports multiple complex projects.
