Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Newton, North Carolina, seeks an Electrical Controls Engineer to lead design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of automation and control systems within the manufacturing facility. This fully onsite role ensures reliable operation of production equipment and supports productivity, safety, and quality.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing, with Siemens PLC programming, Fanuc CNC controls, and experience with robotics and HMI/SCADA.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
3+ years in industrial automation/manufacturing controls.
Experience with Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting and Fanuc CNC controls.
Familiarity with robotics (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.).
Experience with HMI/SCADA and industrial networks.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

Evaluates control systems and applications for performance and reliability.
Assesses new manufacturing and control technologies and updates specs.
Validates control system functionality and safety through tests.
Prepares electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic drawings and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
Ensures data collection systems' accuracy and integrity.
Provides technical support to manufacturing, process, and engineering teams.
Maintains equipment performance through audits, troubleshooting, repairs, and PM.
Develops project documentation and templates.
Supports supplier development and on-time delivery.
All other duties as assigned.
