Job summary

Dandy is seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to lead software development for next‑generation Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) used in manufacturing custom prosthetics. You will own the SCADA layer and serve as the technical contact for architecture and integration, collaborating with engineers and integrators to scale from POC to high volume production.

With 8+ years in software engineering and experience in manufacturing software (SCADA and PLC), you will drive dev-ops and full-stack development

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in manufacturing software and industrial control systems.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the SCADA layer across Dandy’s machines and act as technical point of contact.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and 3rd-party integrators to scale machines to production.
• Define and lead a standardized platform for machine software testing, observability, and releases.
• Perform hands-on work with production equipment from commissioning to mass production.
• Collaborate with a broad range of technical teams across the company.
