Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls & Automation Engineer to join our manufacturing team. You will develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize production, program PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA, and support multiple sites.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering, proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLCs, .NET, SQL, and Ethernet/IP, and willingness to travel up to 25%. We offer excellent compensation, yearly bonus, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in PLC programming, HMI, SCADA, and electrical controls.
• Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley PLC's, HMI development, Wonderware (Aveva) ArchestrA.
• Experience with .NET programming, SQL Databases, and Ethernet/IP Communication.
• Open to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, and commission control systems to optimize manufacturing processes and increase productivity.
• Programming and integrating PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems for automated equipment.
• Provide Controls and Automation Systems technical support to other company locations.
• Design and selection of plant control system architecture (control panels, hardware, communication protocols, etc.).
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
