Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct experience as a controls engineer in automated manufacturing.
• Experience in automation/controls systems (PLC, SCADA).
• Ignition experience preferred; strong documentation practice.
• Understanding of electrical power distribution and control panel design.
• Willingness to travel for project work and site activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions and participate in design, configuration, testing and commissioning.
• Design control systems and create project drawings and documentation.
• Diagnose automation problems and implement fixes.
• Interface with teams, clients and vendors to deliver projects.
• Configure software/hardware per client specifications and standards.
• Program PLCs and HMI/SCADA systems (PLC languages, Ignition, FactoryTalk, etc.).
