Job summary

Enterprise Automation in Irvine, CA is seeking an Experienced Controls Engineer to design, implement, commission, and maintain mission-critical industrial control systems across the full project lifecycle. The role emphasizes reliability, quality, and long-term value for clients.

Qualified candidates have at least five years in the field and a BS in Engineering; electrical/chemical/mechanical backgrounds are preferred. In-office five days per week in Irvine.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional industry experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Chemical, electrical, or mechanical engineering degree preferred.
• Controls engineering, process control, automation, or systems integration experience preferred.
• Experience with CSI MasterFormat specifications for Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services including consulting, design, implementation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Design, implement, and commission industrial control and automation systems.
• Support design and implementation of industrial networking systems, low-voltage panels, SQL and database systems, virtualization, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA applications.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and technical consultant during client interactions.
• Mentor, train, and support other team members.
